No one here is actually thinking about separating. Unlike you we are used to be a recent productive area of Canada and we are upset when Politics will limit our economic success both provincially and federally. We can't all get billions of dollars in transfer payments to prop up our excessively socialist system that people complain doesn't give them enoguh and Federal subsidies to our largest companies because we are "unique".

We have tons of other resources, harper relied way too much on oil and look where we are now.

I'm hoping trudeau wont screw things up even more...but we will see. Only time will tell.
A vast majority of the country voted for Trudeau because we were all tired of harpers garbage.
We'll all have to wait and see if he actually helps us or just screws us even worse.

Then again a recession is bound to happen regardless of whos in power. Hopefully though whoever is PM can pull us out fast.
I don't like any of them regardless. All useless lying shits.

And Harper seemed very set on dividing Canada. Didn't have any interest in the country as a whole. All he cared about was the west, so no wonder no one in the east wanted him.
His time was up, many people that voted for him in the past did not want him again. Too many scandals, too many problems handled in a bad way. Lied too much and was caught.

    exactly.
A lot of people I know used to love harper. This election they all hated him though and wanted him gone. His time was up. Too many scandals were going on.

Albertans are conservative almost by default since liberal governments have a lengthy and well documented history of treating Alberta like a colony.

Canada is a single zone for Toyota, so all the same models in all provinces. This has been reported many many times from well placed persons like Jeff Lange.

Never been a TRD Pro in Canada. Always same old s... The only TRD off-road here is Access Cab in Manual. Out of luck and screwed by Toyota themselves. Double Cab TRD Off-road auto short bed is the only option I would consider. In the meantime they see the light, I will be playing with something else than a Toyota.

According to the sales literature I picked up tonight, you can get the off road in Manual, or add it as a package to the auto.

You mean like when a landlocked province, who relies on moving their resources to sea, plays politics and tries to ram a project down the throat of another province without working with them to develop a mutually beneficial arrangement?

Wait a second, you just described Alberta, LOL :D

Keep telling yourself how bad Alberta is while you drive your truck that gets 15 mpg.

It doesn't matter anyways. Like a dysfunctional but loving family we are all stuck together for better or worse anyways.

Do you think they will change and offer more options for the trd offroad in canada? I really want a tacoma but I don't want to spend the money on a sport when I really want an offroad.

I might not be the best person to answer this, but my feelins tell me Toyota Canada don't see a market for OR in Canada except for a few youngsters so they only provide the AC TRD OR. It has been like this since 2005 and they didn't realized there is interest in other choices yet...

    This.
I just bought an access cab TRD OR with automatic. I guess it is an SR5 with the OffRoad package.
I wanted to check out the 2016 TRD PRO 4runner...not available in Canada!
