That's why I went with silver instead of dark blue, everything dark shows dirt and scratches terribly

I live on the west coast. The water nazi's are already bad enough for the lawns. I would hate to see what happens if I wash my truck in my driveway. With that being said, I keep the interior clean. I cannot go to a regular carwash since I have unremoveable antenna's mounted to a headache rack. Those self pay place's do more damage than good.

Usually give the inside a once over every few days. Outside...haha. I try to keep mud from drying on and under it but other than rain, it's only been washed twice in over a year of ownership.

I do about 1 wash every 2 month lol. The inside I just wipe down with one of the shammys I used to dry it and shake out the weather techs. I think my longest time without a washing it was 5-6 months. I always snap a few photos of it after it's washed, it's a rare moment that must be saved.
My dads like you OP when ever I come to visit he ask me "Want to clean your truck?"

Clean within reason. It lives outside, it is going to get dirty. I wash it when it gets beyond my tolerance and give it extra love when I can.
Interior stays clean and organized. That is just a "me-ism".
