While I am at the dealer I asked them to look it up. They can't even see pics of the fender flare in their parts system yet. Looking at a truck there are 2 bolts at each lower position which can be seen looking in the tire area. Laying under the truck and looking inside the fender well there are colored clips towards the top of the fender flares.

Parts is going to research it and get back to me with part numbers.

Good man !! Seriously I'm curious as to how they're attached now, a couple screws isn't a real fix IMO...let us know...;)

Buy an SR 4WD and a pair of sand ramps for $40 and get the same effect for $10,000 cheaper.

Here is about as far as we could get with MTS enabled... crawl control wasn't doing much for us, just couldn't get past one spot. I'm sure if we lowered the PSI to 15 it would have made it, this was at 30psi all around (click for vid)

I found the MTS very impressive - it definitely got us farther than 4low / open diffs alone. crawl worked great on downhills and rocky terrain.

Did you try crawl control up that hill with it enabled from the bottom? Crawl control is more of a slow and steady approach as opposed to hitting it with speed as you did.

Another video of the crawl control in some sort of sand that does not impress me. I want to see them drive out on a beach and crawl out after bottoming out. I want to see it in a real test of real sand or real mud 2nd Gen owner but not a hater of 3rd future 3rd Gen owner. When I got my 1st taco that was just a SR5 4WD I bottom out the rear on beach sand and drove out on low as a test. As far as the fender flare mine are still attached but broken after a full side impact from a minivan. Another wrecked Taco post coming soon damage still being totaled up and pics.

Nah, should have. I didn't really know how it worked / how to implement it until afterwards. We tried crawling at all different speeds, but this one got the farthest. I think with more aggressive 33's at a lower pressure, it would have made it just fine.

I vote for the old man to give it a try. I'd also like to see a 1 or 2nd gen do the same thing.

You've seen the Landcruisers getting out of flat sand stucks, why do you think the Tacoma would not do as well?
