The reality is, if he keeps calling a crash he's going to be right eventually. Even the blind get some in the toilet. I just think it's funny that we're in November and he's saying he thinks "the market is close to the peak" but he already said we're well past a correction and in a crash back in August and called the bottom at under half the current market.

But um we were crashing until the government secretly moved the Dow a whopping 2,000 points since he made that statement.

Exactly. If you say the sun will set soon and don't define what soon is, did you really predict it? Nope.

Anyone want to try to get this thread back on track?

So a couple months back I was thinking about buying some palladium when it hit $600, the next day it felt like the floor fell out as it went down to $550 and it scared me off. The rebound has been fairly dramatic since then, but I just don't know what to think in terms of future performance for the metal. Any thoughts? And no, I'm not asking for youtube videos or pictures.

Interesting. Keep watching it and if you think you notice a trend, toss $50-$250 at it and see what happens. Worst case scenario you lose 10%? No matter how much it drops after you buy it I would imagine waiting a couple months would get you back to a break even:notsure:

Here's Steve's genius post on September 29th. I love how Steve gloats and claims that Icahn follows his jackass posts. This is pure comedy GOLD! I guess both you idiot's are now ON RECORD being wrong.

And for the record Icahn Enterprises, symbol IEP is down over 11% YTD, wow, just wow! I'd fire Carl if I was dumb enough to place any money with him in the first place.

The S&P 500 is up 11.7% since the massive "warning"

Dollars to donuts Steve doesn't have the balls to come back and say he messed up this call....

So is this still for sure? I mean on September 1st you sounded pretty damn sure. Just wondering if all these posts have accountability.

Yeah it's pretty quiet in here now. Calling anyone who doesn't agree with you a troll and pounding your fist on the table screaming I'm right! Maybe they finally tucked tail and ran. We can only hope.

I think what you meant to say was "I was wrong" ;)

Cmon, lets hear you say it.

    I havn't been wrong about anything. ;)

The things I discussed are still possible. The reason why I believe it is a good idea to have PM's in a portfolio still exist. We are far from 'strength and good standing' as a nation.

To edit: I still don't think the Fed will raise rates. They said they might raise rates back in September, didn't happen. They said it might happen by the end of this year, most likely also won't happen. Even if they do raise rates, it will probably only be a 1/4-1/2%, which is not a rate raise.

Why? Because I'm asking for people who troll this page with BS to be held accountable? No thanks, it's pretty comfy on the soapbox.

The point is a bunch of you guys come in here spewing nonsense with no real data or facts to back up their wild accusations of the world coming to an end, Dow at 5,000 then 1,000, China secretly attacking America, the dollar crashing and being replaced by a currency minted by the new world order and cute youtube videos of prognosticators sitting in the basement of their momma. Then when it doesn't happen no one has the balls to say I made a mistake. I'm sure I'll get labeled as a troll for holding the nut jobs accountable. Truth be told this thread is more like comedy and entertainment than PM advice, I'm just here for the videos and pictures of collectible coins....

Nope, wrong again about me. I never gave false information, just posibilities of what could happen, which, again, are still possible.

As long as you are aware you are on a soapbox, then we agree about something.

I didn't quote you, these comments were not directed to you. They are directed at those who called me a troll because I simply asked that they stop telling everyone the market was crashing and the world was replacing the dollar after America collapsed.

And as long as the market continues to climb he's welcome to stay there.

If it collapses then the silver bug will have their day. But currently, to quote one member "flat out wrong" is where the silver bugs currently stand.
