I'm down for a get together, if I'm not working of course. I have a pretty funky schedule, but I will definitely come by if I can!

I hate to have to do this but I'm moving out of my current house (roommate issues) and can no longer keep Bravo. Is there anyone in the Treasure Valley area looking for an awesome dog? Let me know :(

As far as I've seen he's good with other dogs, kids, ect. He's purebred AKC Long Coated German Shepherd. Knows basic commands.

Thank you! It's breaking my heart but now that I'm single I just can't afford to keep him and care for him like he needs. I'm doing this is for his benefit.

He's up to date on shots, not neutered (which scares me to get rid of him) but I was told neutering too young can be problematic on health. It's actually been proven that they have less joint issues if you wait until 1.5yr+ to neuter German Shepherd's.

So my little 94 dd with a 22re has a rod knock. I want to try just rolling a set of bearings into it, but I'm not confident in my abilities to get that done. Anyone know anybody that's any good. I can buy the parts. I'll pay fair. I wasnt planning on keeping this truck but another 6 months tops. We have a kid on the way(crappy single cab) and are moving a lot closer to work so I won't really need a dd. So I don't want to dump a ton of money into it, but I don't want it being on its way out at anytime.

Haven't been on here for a while, but I got a question for you adventurers!

So I get a few weeks off for the holidays and the wife and I wanted to retreat to the mountains over Christmas so we were looking at cabins and yurts. Problem 1, is that the closest backcountry yurt is about 3 miles and 2k ft in elevation rise and packing our almost 3 yo and 4month old sons would be troublesome.

Problem 2, Cabins in island park are already booked or like 1k for a few days with all of the fees and garbage.

So we are almost resorting to a hotel :gasp: if it's in a small town get away.

    So any ideas?

Look up ruby mountain heli ski in Lamoille Nevada. They have a few Yurts and they snow cat or heli you in there because they are about 6 miles and 3k' climb. I've never been so I can't say how good they are. I also don't know cost, but worth looking into. Most beautiful mountains I've ever been in.

Jump the border and come on over to Oregon! Check out Wallowa lake. There are lots of cabins for rent that are reasonable rates, lots of stuff to do, and it's something new to see. Also there is no sales tax here.

Plus there are some neat drives in the area. Head down to Imnaha, then follow the river down to Dug Bar at the confluence of the Snake and Imnaha rivers. You can do the whole thing in your mom's camry, it's a little bumpy in spots, but would be a fun day trip with the fam. Unfortunately the tram is closed for the winter, but that just means you will have the place all to yourself. (less tourists) There are also some nice gravel road drives to various fire towers and scenic overlooks, and I think the snow level is high enough you can still get around to most of them right now.

Awesome tips, we're planning on December 23-26 ish and we'd go in the truck I'd be kinda scared to do the drive with worn MT tires over the Blues to be honest
