Nice!! Clearly the truck is built incorrectly.

That's the size I need. Send it on up!

You just need to throw a bed extender adapter on it and everything will be golden.

It's for aerodynamics. Now I'll get excellent mpg's!

I better have the dealer extend the bed to proper length. God damn 3rd gen failure yet again!

I had an Access Laredo roll up tonneau with the velcro on the sides.... 10 years... Not 1 issue... it was watertight from day 1 and still is today... Roll-ups is good...

Gonna try the hard Solid Fold 2.0 this time... just for change...!!

Haha. Shit happens. As long as I receive the correct one with no hassle, no big deal.

I just got my solid fold 2.0 today. Fits great. It came with a pack of hardware that I'm assuming is for trucks that didn't have a rail for the speed hook to grab onto. I took the washers and added 4 to each of the clamps in the front as spacers so the plastic wing nut had more clearance from the rail. (Hope that makes sense)

Hmmm, now that I think about it maybe it's because you're on a decline!!

Level the truck or put it on the incline. :D

Ok, let's sum it up: they send you a 5 ft. cover, which is 1 ft. too long -> you have a Ford Explorer Sport Trac!

It's clearly a 5' ft tonneau, says it on the box. Toyota engineers clearly fucked up and built me a 4' bed;)

LOL, that thing still looks better and will keep more water out than the OEM Toyota tonneau.

Can you please provide a picture of your solid fold 2.0 on the truck and of the washers you added to the clamps. Thank you in advance

Was just thinking the same thing. Definitely don't have to worry about water coming coming through the gaps between the top of the tailgate and the tonneau cover.

Thanks for that advice! I just installed mine and it was super easy. The cover fits great and appears to be high quality.

So I looked at the hardware pack that came with the solid fold 2.0 again tonight. Even though you can hook the speed clamps straight into the channels on the sides, you can also mount those brackets to the channels and hook the speed clamps on to those. I installed one of the brackets tonight and it is easier to pull down the speed hook and hook it onto that bracket as opposed to directly into the channel. The instructions don't even mention the included brackets.
