I used those same actuators to add power locks to my Daughter's 1st gen Miata. They're a bargain! Good work man.

I just looked back at my order and I paid a whopping $9.45 for the pair. Amazing they can make a profit on those things.

Well I done screwed up now... Took my diminished value check from a parking lot accident and TURNED IT INTO A PELFREYBILT FRONT BUMPER!!!!

    Thank you Satin @Pelfreybilt !!!!!

She answered all my questions and showed me that their customer service is top notch!

The next 10-12 weeks (+ a couple for shipping) are going to be REALLY long!

Explain the process did the settlement check for "repairs" add up to the value of a pelfrey bumper? If so i need a parking lot accident myself..

Haha not quite... I wish they covered it all. But I'm definitely coming out of pocket on a portion of it. Diminished value is the difference in value between a wrecked vehicle and its value before the accident.

The current diminished value offer is at $650 right now, but I have a 3rd party appraiser state it should be closer to $1200 based on the initial damage estimate (which was almost $1500 less than the final). I imagine I will end up with something in between when it is all said and done.

I was contemplating on what to do with the money. Thinking about ways to add some of that value back to the truck. I went back and forth between the Pelfreybilt bumper and some katzkin leather seats. Asked my GF, assuming she'd tell me to go with the leather... To my surprise, she thought I should go with the bumper! And with my luck and other vehicles trying to kill my truck, I think it was a good idea haha!

If this is the one that they sell on Amazon then beware that the colored part of the stripes will probably fall off. Also the provided backing flat stock hardware will rust since it is made from mild steel. And the threaded rod and nuts will rust also. After one winter I repainted the white and red stripes, used some spare 1.5 inch flat stock aluminum with a couple drilled holes in it as the back mounting plate and used stainless steel bolts and washers to hold it on. YMMV.
