Good to see the new members as well as the members planning to move in from other areas. I'll be active here again soon but for now am going to be busy taking care of some family business. Feel free to add me to the list that you are building in efforts to sort out a get together of sorts.

The Mo4wd club (http://www.mo4wd.com/) has its annual Stocker No Locker event coming up Nov. 8 at Moonlight Racing near Sullivan, MO. I went last year for my inaugural 4-wheeling trip. But my truck is my daily driver and was subject to a few more narrow trails and close trees than I expected. It was awesome to learn that my 2012 would successfully tackle the the course that was laid out. I recommend it.

    Thinking like April or May

Well there's no way in hell I'm taking my brand new 2016 on anything too dangerous. I think St. Joe has a good mix from beginners to advanced

It's OK, good for a day trip a couple times a year... Check their trail report before making the trip up there. If it gets really wet they will close many of the trails. The park is really set up better for ATVs than trucks but it is still a good time.

Are their trails rated at all? Like I said I really don't want to scratch a brand new truck

They have a map. I do just fine in my stock Gen1 on the main trails. It is a lot of mud. If you stay off the trees you should be fine.

Mud doesn't bother me, just underbrush and trees

Will do man. Why are you getting rid of it. I think your going to be hard pressed to sell it for $31,000 with 55,000 miles on the odo IMO

The price is negotiable. Gotta start somewhere.

Man it's sad to see that sweet truck go out into the wild to get abused by someone who could care less about it.

Sucks to see you go but I hope situations work out to your satisfaction. When spring rolls back around we still need to get the boys together and take them camping again.

Right on, I'm still in over my head with family business but hopefully I will see some light again soon and be able to have some fun. Just keep us posted.

Any places to take the truck for some light off-roading to engage 4WD around STL? Not looking to get too extreme, just want to get it off the asphalt...

Is that an actual off-road park or what is it?
