No the point is the price increased and they cost more, that is a fact. Your the one using stupid $48k listed 2nd gens, if I went by that logic I would list the $54k lifted 3rd gen someone posted on here.

I'm just using your logic to prove how insane your claims are.

Obviously the avg price is higher, just jot nearly as much as you and others want to believe. Inflation, improvements, etc. Hell even the McDonald's dollar menu only has one or two things that actually cost a buck.

My point is and always have been this isn't a 40k truck as many continue to claim. You seem to want to believe it because of data manipulation, which if applied to 2nd gens, then they too are, 40k trucks. Can't have it both ways.

You can put lipstick on the pig, still a pig ...
Honda is going to kill Tacoma. New Ridgeline looks 1000 times better not to mention it probably has 100 times better quality, and better service.

But it is! MSRP for Sport, OR, Limited is $36-40k and guys are paying MSRP or close to. So guess what if the truck price is $39k its a damn $39k truck. If the price say of a 2nd gen sport was $34k guess what its a $34k truck. Again your logic is so backwards. There are more features sure, great but it costs more and the cost dips into full size territory. How hard is that to comprehend? So when someone claims its almost a $40k truck guess what it is and the sticker says so. Just eliminating the deal nonsense you are saying proves that. Just like a $34k sticker on a 2nd gen. Geesus some of you 3rd gen guys, you would think I was beating your mom or something when I talk about your precious new truck.

Because it doesn't. You and I paid same price.

Limited wasn't offered in 2nd Gen, the fact you're comparing a limited 3rd gen to a non limited 2nd Gen just once again proves your incompetence.

You still have yet to prove it bud. I too can throw numbers out. Email screen shot anything that shows you paid as you state $33k OUT THE DOOR for a DCLBOR 4WD, based on allocation of that rare model, and current market, Im willing to say your full of sh*t.

There is your ignorance right there newb, limited was offered in the 2nd gen and in a long bed config as well. Not new to Tacomas, but please tell me again I am incompetent.

Was it Canada? I don't remember a limited 2nd Gen.

And even so, you're comparing your old TRD to a 2016 limited. Not even close to the same

A TRD SPORT LB 4WD with my options is $36-37k in 2016 form (yes they are different with the new tech stuff), mine stickered at $33-34k. The point is they cost more. And they are now pushing into the $40k range, not sure HOW HARD THAT IS TO COMPREHEND, no one is bashing your truck, I like a lot of things about the new gen, price is not one, especially when I can get a nicely/similarly equipped full size with comparable gas mileage for the same price!

    Couldn't agree more.

Those 2nd Gen owners that feel an obsessive need to manipulate data and make shit up to try and bash 3rd gen are such sorry folks lol.

Your 34k truck has blind spot monitoring? Parking assist? Moonroof? Rear cross traffic alert?

    No?

So you're not comparing apples to apples.

Man I want to find this dealership who is selling cheap TRD OR LB 4x4s!
How much is a plane ticket to Washington State?
My dealer is smoking crack here on the East Coast with his pricing on TRD OR SBs!
$500 off sticker that was $39,603!! Before TTL!
Easily those killer Washington deals is worth the cost of a flight.
Damn, I could bring it home and make $$$.
Honestly, if you that is the price paid, Good for you!
The availability is driving the market here in the Northeast. They trickle in....
My 13 TRD OR 4WD was 30,900 OTD.
It even had a freakin $500 regional rebate at the time, not military, I couldn't qualify retired too long ago :(

Go to Oregon wink wink :)

Dealers up here got a huge % of this config compared to SW and NE based on the allotment sheets thay have been posted.

There was some guy complaining in the mgm thread about the NE allotment of these. He said he had the only one in the entire region lol

So now you're comparing it to a f150? Hahaha. The desperation in your posts is amazing

And once again, I didn't pay for the tech stuff. Which is why comparing my truck to yours is a more direct comparison, excuse neither of our trucks have those features. It seems like we paid nearly identical prices too, except yours is an older generation. Imagine that.

By your logic my tacoma was 200k less than a Ferrari. Guess I got a good deal guys.
