They were installed by a professional shop exactly as the instructions entailed. That shop also installs Total Choas products with no issues and has worked with Camburgs before with no issues.

I'm not backing you in the corner, but the two of you seem to be extremely pro LR in spite of anything anyone else has to say. It's not making me want LR any more, it's making me want their product less lol.

Gonna try to find the old pic of my 2010 to show the crack and how it was installed. Don't know if I can find it though. But you would expect a place that installs these things for a living to do it right

Your comment suggested that link showed that Camburg has major issues. I was trying to be nice and not say there is a reason the mod closed that thread because the BS pile was higher than the facts.

FACT: LR has had at least two major failures that I know of. The only two people who bought their product broke it ONROAD. They swear they've improved and the hate threads about them have died down so their new product is probably better, but I'm still hesitant to buy. Let's just leave it at that.

Still the company name right OZ.

On a related note, I'd love for you to meet the guy who broke one of the arms. The amount of sarcastic and flat out one line I know everything comments you both love to use would lead to some hilarity I'm sure.

Another statement that confuses me. What post did I seem to be "extremely pro LR" ? LR got my vote and that is all, but when someone claims Camburgs have nothing wrong with them the facts come out

You know what you are right I asked him if he brought the truck down before torquing everything. I believe he said no you are not supposed. I said yes you are.

Sweet, for $200 you can almost afford to ship a skid plate or pay for 1/5th of a coilover! Honestly, if money was the only option, I wouldn't be looking at 2.5" extended travel coilovers to go with my new arms. What is with the 3rd gen douchebaggery flowing out over into every other part of this site?

I'll buy once and likely not regret it with either choice. The opinion online in most forums is that I'll be happier with one product over the other long term. I guess I'll find out who was right in several years once I've put whatever I choose through the paces.

I'm failing to see how that link you posted shows any fault with the Camburg Ball-Joint UCAs... The shop that pressed the BJ fucked it up. I personally wouldn't expect a company to warranty a product that was destroyed by user error.

    Say what ?

The LR UCA failures at the weld are generally from the old style bushings , torqued prior to the truck weight placed on them that then pinched the bushing transferring rotational forces to the weld points of the arms when the suspension cycled

So a single article written online without 3rd party verification is a fact now?

Fuck, I better burn down my Tacoma before the driveline vibrates, the frame rusts out, and the pistons slap themselves to death :D.

Take it easy. Go back to my first comment. I still might go with LR. My point is that a couple of guys getting their hair up over it towards me isn't making me want to buy LR any more and probably isn't drawing good attention to the point you were trying to get across.

Yeah, that's what I've read. New bushings and taking the washer out seems to fix the issues. I don't know. That's why I'm still on the fence a bit.
