Premium and Technology Packages

Push-button start is standard unless you're getting the 5 speed manual transmission.

 

Usually a there is a small light up on the side mirror.

 

Correct, a little orange icon lights up on the side mirror whenever somebody is in your blind spot. It can be toggled off if desired as well.

 

So can the parking assist which is awesome when backing up with a trailer. The rear cross traffic alert thing is excellent. The second day I had it at home some kid came tearing down my street after I had looked both ways and started to back out of the driveway - it beeped like mad at me and I hit the brakes - wasn't sure what the beeping was about - would have been a lot closer call if it hadn't gone off.

 

Yep, I didn't realize it would work on pedestrians/bikes, but I'm glad it does.

 

it would be better if it worked like the infiniti commericals, when the family is backing out and it actually applies the brakes before the driver reacts to hitting the brakes.

 

i have entune plus w/o navi. does anyone know if i can have entune navi installed and how much? or should i just swap it out for a dvd navi unit

There is a $600.00 difference between the Premium and technology package with or without JBL. Which sounds great by the way.

WRONG!! I own a 2015 Outback with this option!!

 

eyesight is 2 camera's facing forward. kinda hard for a camera to look backwards. to sense items behind it, it is using a different set of sensors to perform that function.

if you have eyesight, you can see the camera housing right by the rear view mirror pointing forward.
