Well I finally bolted in my chrome rollbar in my 1st gen. It looks cooool, now for the 6" KC Daylighters! I'll have to start watching Miami Vice, and other cool eighties stuff now too.

Mine is pre drilled for 3 lights... it has 4 wires, I'm guessing so you can have the 3rd on a separate switch.

I love roll bars (or show bars or light bars or whatever people want to call them)!

There aren't any manufacturers that make that type for the 05+, so the best place to go would be any racecar builder in your area. They could make something, and if you want, I'm sure they could tie it into the structure of your truck to make it functional too.

    I love the rollbar look.

My bar was pre-tabbed for 4 lights but it was too close to the cab and the light deflected wrong.

So I bent up this Light bar, brings the lights up 6" or so and reduced it to be 3 large lights instead of 4 small ones. I liked this look/ light pattern more.

Also welded the nuts that attach the new light bar onto the existing tabs so All I need is a socket to remove my lights. It is 100% the smartest move since I can remove them if I need to get into a garage or in case I dont trust the people in a certain area. The wiring has a 2 pin Marine connector that I carry in my stores.

I know now I feel bad for threadjacking....

I put up a build thread earlier, there smore pics there. Ill be adding more tomorrow after I go offroading.

My rollbar is off a toyota 4wd pretaco and has been modified to fit my truck. It does not attach to the bed rails, it goes to the wheel well and the forward end of the bed. It is like 3" tube. The guy that I got it from had rolled his truck with it and it was barely dented.

Satin black I guess that would be shiney. If my toy was a toy it would be semi-gloss black. Its what most people want flat black to look like.

Satin is between Semi Gloss and Flat. I dont want the flat look but dont want shiny so im going Satin.

Roll bars are for ROLLOVER protection.

Show bars & light bars are for looks & lights. :D

Big difference between the two. ;)
