    This season is Brady's version of Manning's record-setting 2013.

Manning and Brady are not a year apart. Manning has three more years as a starter under his belt.

I was talking about their ages. Manning's 39, Brady's 38. Manning moves like an old man and has for a while, it's just worse this year; Brady doesn't move like Manning did 2-3 years ago. He moves like Manning did 10 years ago, maybe.
Obviously only time will tell, but I'm sticking with 5+ years barring an injury. :notsure:

You bring up a good point. What Brady needs is a good injury.

One like Siragusa The Giant Fat Cockgobbler put on Gannon.

No flag, IIRC. @ ~55 secs

You shut your dirty whore mouth!
He's already given the league a 'free season' with an injury, lol.
I hate seeing players get injured, too. Especially ones that have the potential to end a career. Any players, regardless of what team they're on.

I'd make an exception for Suh, though. Anybody who wants to fall on his knee can do that whenever.

This is what I've found most impressive:

Carr has the foundation to become a very good pro quarterback, perhaps even a great one. But explosive as the combo might be, there’s a third and vastly overlooked element to Oakland’s offensive success: the depth and versatility of its ancillary personnel

During the Jets game, is was remarkable how much the ball was spread around, and how much the marquee players were not doing all the scoring. Carr does not fixate, and he capitalizes on ball distribution. You have Crabtree and Cooper covered, no problem. And if he has nothing, he doesn't force it. I can't remember ever seeing him really run, unlike some recent burt-out "phenoms" who opt to run around in circles instead of being disciplined. I think this is going to make defense against the Raiders very hard, because Ds will need to think in terms of "don't leave any of these 10 guys open."

I think the rest of the team is now feeding on Carr's confidence and decisiveness and knowing that they all need to keep trying to get open for him, because he is watching all of them, and he will use them. This is a cultrual shift, because I used to plead for them to please keep playing until the fucking whistle, you goddamn losers! That's a huge difference between a winning and a losing record.

There's a difference between causing deliberate bodily harm and causing deliberate butthurt, though.

True. If only there were a universe in which we could have Suh go against Sherman. I'd be OK with it if Suh would stomp his cleats on Sherman's unmasked mouth.

He'd lose his foot in those big nostrils Sherman's got.

Umm... let's be honest. The Raiders have some good players, but they are far from a "good" team. Funny how everyone says the seahawks suck, and they have 4 wins, but the raiders dont suck, and they also only have 4 wins.

He never said they were a good team. He just said they don't suck anymore. Which is true. They have a lot of potential now that they have a QB and might keep someone as a head coach for more than 6 games at a time.

He's younger in part because the Pats are immune from offensive holding penalties.
