What psi should i run?

    I find this comment amusing. In the Toyota Tacoma Owners manual (and inside the door jam) it specifies 29 PSI for the front and 32 PSI in the rear. AMAZING!

    It actually makes a difference for me. If I run the factory PSI (29 in front and 32 in the rear) I get a very nice ride. When I run 32 PSI all the way around it's a bit stiffer ride.

    Nice ride, but I found it murdered my MPG when I did it. I put mine back up to 45psi.
    I don't mind the harsher ride. And it's only going to get worse when I get my Duratracs in 285x75x16. They only come in E load.
    Super over kill, but I want those tires and IW ant 285. Should ride slightly rougher than the Flintstones' car.

    ya Im running 44psi all around with these load E dura tracs but it still rides smoother and nicer than the stock bfg rugged trails

    Probably not. They just have the extra PSI for heavier vehicles carrying heavier loads. On a Taco all it will do is cause you to shrink ½" from your spine compressing due to the rough ride. You'll just get a nice uneven wear at that PSI.

    So my tires suggest 35-40psi.. ive found that 38ish gets me the best milageage.. but for some reason my low psi light is on in the dash??? any suggestions or ideas of why?

    Very true, the recommended PSI makes the ride great!! It made vehicle feel like new, a much better improvement than the 5100's I installed.

    i have kumho 285/70 and the tire shop i went to(actually knew what they were doing, not a stupid shop,) calculated off a tire handbook and set my tires to around 26/27
