I hope everyone realizes Matt wouldn't have been suspended if he would've wrecked logano on purpose battling for the lead.

Brian France has "dumbed down" the current NASCAR to be corporate $$$$$ and circus shows.... Individual drivers now need team mates or "how officials" rule to advance..

This is NOT RACING and we wonder why the "Real Blue Collar" sponsors have walked away.....

    My 2 cents

Yea. Sponsors are leaving because there aren't enough fans in the seats anymore, companies see a full year sponsorship as a waste now in their advertising allotment (cost like 10-35 million a year for a cup car I think), so many sponsors are opting to do partial sponsorships per year. Fans aren't filling up the stands because of the politics and constant changes in NASCAR. The chase hasn't done much to bring excitement and they keep screwing with the aero, but not enough so it makes racing bad. When Brian France steps down (not likely) and someone new takes over, It'll be a better NASCAR. Until then this is the circus we have!

I've never collected diecast, really wouldn't mind starting though, especially with all the partial sponsors going on you could get some really cool looking cars.

My wife took it a step further for our son. When he turned 4 his room became Daytona including a crash scene; poor Kodak car was being pummeled on my garage floor so Mom could glue it to his wall  Then again half of you would not recognize the cars; Winn Dixie, Tide,
McDonalds, UPS, Miller, Texaco Havoline and Coors.

I will say that room sold our house when we put it on the market, what husband gets a "built in Man-cave" in little Clermont ,Florida :D

And yes,the cars were all duplicates and even the original transports with their matching banners "hang out" in the current "Man Cave"...Yes,my wife married a BIG Kid :rofl::rofl:

I have a few 1:24 die casts. Here are the ones I have in my office at work (2000 Sterling Marlin Coors #40, 2002 Dale Jr. #8, 2003 Sterling Marlin #40 Coors Light, autographed 2003 Robby Gordon Cingulair #31) I know people hate Robby Gordon but I was always a fan and offroad racing is my first love.

I don't take these to work because they are more important to me being a JGR fan. Autographed 2011 Kyle Busch M&Ms 18, autographed 2013 Denny Hamlin Fed Ex #11, autographed 2014 Matt Kenseth Dollar General #20 and 2014 Kyle Busch Interstate Batteries #18. Haven't got a Carl Edwards 19 yet but will soon.

There are good deals on ebay sometimes. I paid $9 for the Dale Jr car which is crazy considering it's Dale Jr. It was too good of a deal to pass up.

    Re: die cast

I'm sitting on collectibles dating back to the early '80s I'm about to unload. Thinking about doing a flea market booth soon. If you're looking for anything let me know. I might have it. 150+ 1:24 die cast, sealed 1:24, hero cards, books, programs, cards sealed model kits, etc. If I don't sell the cars, I'm donating them to the local some and children's shelter as Christmas gifts.
