Pilot hole and then a hole saw with a nice arbor. Slow speed to score it or that bitch will jump around and put some nice patterns in your fender.

Okay sounds good. What size hole saw should I use? I was reading people used a 4"

 

No clue. Just measure the piece that needs to go through the fender.

I think miacevedo (sp?) was the local who installed his. I'm sure he'll chime in.

 

I reccomended a DreMel or a grinder with cut off wheel better bet then to hole saw

 

I have that. I didn't have the whole saw. A dremel would be best I think but I will have to use the grinder and wheel

 

Something to keep in mind after you install the snorkel!Pic up some S100 Total Cycle Cleaner for your engine to clean!Works amazingly and does the work itself instead of having to put some scrubbing and elbow work into it!

 

When I think of a grinder I think of a wheel atleast 3-4" in diameter...how are you supposed to cut a round hole with that?

Maybe I'm just used to hole saws. We use them daily at work so I have access to diamond tipped blades.

 

I think I'll cut a smaller square and round it out to a larger hole with the grinder?
