flashing lights

who all flashes lights or wave at tacoma's when its daylight out i know i do. do you??

i give a wave sometimes

 

I flash My Offroad lights at the Tacoma owners I know. Especially at night when I'm behind them. I used to wave, but Its mostly at flat billers who only stare at you back.

 

Yeah, I used to wave, but it seems that the Jeep type pride is lost to most Tacoma drivers. 1 out of 10 people I wave to look at me like "WTF does he want". Jeep drivers always wave at each other.

 

no wave here.only in the jeep, to another jeep.

I actually saw a sweet 1st gen. yesterday when I was out of town. He was on my drivers side at a red light. He had a bunch of stuff done to his truck but I think we noticed each others TC UCA's and gave a wave to each other!!! hahah!!!! I didnt see a TW sticker on his truck though!

 

Why flash lights? Doesn't that mean their headlights are too bright?

 

Nope, no flash for me.

 

Yeah, I wish more people were into it. I'll be honest, I feel like I'm brothers with every other person that owns this truck just because it's such a cool vehicle.

 

the main reason i was asking. is because i either wave or flash my lights at tacoma's well today a sheriff pulled me over for flashin my lights. and i told him that what i do to tacoma owners and people on here do it also. then this police officer pulled up and was like. i own a tacoma and have never heard of that. in my opinion he sounded like a jerk when he said htat. but then again thats my opinion. so i told them about the sight and i was like yah thats what i do. i didnt get a ticket but a warning and the sheriff patrols the road by my house. so i was just seeing what yall did. both are checking this site today when ithey get home. well so they said. but that is the reasoning. also sorry for not capitalizing anything

no he let me go without a ticket i didnt know it was a crime or whatever that is to flash your lights. thats why he pulled me over

 

I'll flash my lights at other SWB's. (have never gotten a response )
Here there are so many Tacomas that I could almost drive with my lights on all the time...
As for waving,,,,, It's hard with the tinted windows up..

flashing the lights at on coming traffic usually lets other people that there is a cop ahead . thats what i know and i could be wrong

 

that is true. but the cop was ahead of me. then made a u turn behind me followed me for a mile then pulled me over
