question for @Yotamac or you other guys that might know. If you've used up all the relays in the box, but have a wiring harness with a relay already included (think rigid wiring harness or something similar), can you just wire that to one of the fused connections?

Accessorry --> Relay included in wiring harness --> Fused input in Bussman (F7-F10) --> In-cab switch

I'm wondering because I'll already have the bussman wires going into the cab to switches, so it would be easier to just run everything to the box as I add new accessories. Let me know if that wasn't clear enough to understand.

That's what I plan on doing: lights with the relay to the box which then goes to the switch.

The lights I already have have a relay so I'm going to use up the non-relayed spot first

Any idea on fuse size to tap into then? Just the smallest fuse?

If my electrical background serves me right (I don't have one) you take your watts of the lights and divide it by something to get the correct relay :notsure:

hahaha! You take something and divide it by something else and you arrive at something. Got it! ;)

Watts divided by volts ..volts in our case is 12 volts. that would give us the amperage

Yes, you can use power through the fuse block for and external relay. The wires going into the cab only power the relays in the RTMR. F7-F10 can be considered a simple terminal block with outgoing leads. You will have to run the additional wires into the cab for the additional switches and/or relays. They are constant hot and always energized when the fuse is in.
