Either way, a Tacoma isn't full size capable. Comparing the two is pointless.

F150 is a better truck. Tacoma is a Tacoma. Whichever you want/need is what I'd go with, and I'd rather do less with an F150 than try to do too much with a Tacoma.

Curious what you mean that you can move into the f150. Wouldn't you take a huge hit money wise?

I used to be a horse-structure-related contractor, hence my handle. You think a Tacoma empties the wallet fast? Whoa, nelly.

Nope my requirement is I happen to like midsize trucks and the F-150 is not midsize.
The "too" big is true about everywhere except the farm. F150 would be my choice if I was a farmer.
A 4 door long box is looking frankly stupid when you go places other than the farm or the lumber yard.
I see the too big of boats.
Like a quick stop at the strip mall. The banana 24ft F150 cannot park with out getting a door ding or back and forth to park and get out.
I'm single so my 2016 Taco access cab TRD for me. Then I drive my 2015 Corvette Z06 in nice weather or my 2008 Z06 or my main beater is my 2006
Colorado. My garage is 960 sg ft.

Well obviously a full size isn't a midsize.

Also a 4 foot bed and a half ton truck are not exactly what I'd call "farm and lumber yard" trucks.

They're also not hard to park at malls.

Tell me again how many full size trucks you've driven at length? 'cause it sounds like you haven't owned any.

I do have a bike too but the boat I have been passing on. Almost bought a 22 Sea ray but 2 years from a planned retirement is too early to buy one.

You can't compare. The f150 has a lot more options, more towing ability, able to fit full size adults in the back , nicer ride, quieter, interior is nicer.

I like horses as well. But as posted, you are either wealthy...or will become broke trying to play that game.

My true animal love are dogs. Especially the retrievers, setters, pointers.
If I had the property I would open a commercial kennel.
Matter of fact, I'm actually considering it.

Nope they are giving me $35k for my tacoma, more than I owe and since they sell lifted trucks like hotcakes they know my truck is worth that, the F150 is priced at $43k but I would be getting it for $39k and change OTD just over $40k financed.
