Haha yeah I'm cleaNing up around the house. Gonna bail to home depot and buy a 4" hold saw and make this easy on myself

 

Go slow on that saw. When I did the holes for my intercooler that sucked. If the drill grabs too hard switch over to reverse

 

Also use painters tape over the body so your paint doesn't chip off

 

You have an arbor right?

 

No. Well I need one?

 

Hell yes, if you try and just use a hole saw it will skip all over the place. The arbor will start it with a pilot hole and keep it aligned.

Yah gotcha. I didn't know that was the arbor. I'm going to pick one up with the hole saw

Ive got both a 4in hole saw and two arbors if you dont have the money, good ones are not cheap. I can bring with sat.

ya i can get them from work too if you need. never done it in a car but make sure you go slow and make sure the pilot bit is straight otherwise you'll drill a 5" hole with a 4 1/2" hole saw haha

Those are rivets........so those might be to fix it to the pillar.
