    Question- I've read in a couple instances that guys that have sliders installed had to cut them off to fit glass bedsides? Should I wait to install my BAMF sliders until after I install glass, or is that just extenuating circumstances?

    Already have them and they aren't too high, I have the TT bedsides which helps but I also have more of a forward angle to my cage which also takes out some of the length.

    Chances are your sliders are going to hug your stock bedsides a little bit, so when you throw the fiberglass on your slider might be under a portion of your bedside.

    You mentioned longer shackles to help with ride height. I assume you are converting the inverted shackles that the second gen comes with to traditional shackles? If not longer shackles on a second gen will lower the truck.

    Correct, they will be standard shackles, not inverted that comes from the factory, 6-7" I'm still doing the geometry on it and deciding how high I want it. I prefer regular shackles becaus under drive train load it pushes the tire down vs. soaking it up.

    Isn't it the other way around? I have regular shackles and when I hit the gas the back end rises

    i was also worried about sliders not fitting with glass so i bought a weld it yourself kit.

    It looks like I can very slightly... But at full compression I'm going to be very close.
    It's not because of the Chevy 63s, it's because of my shock relocation. I welded the lower mounts flush with the axle and because of that my 12" shock would bottom out before hitting the superbumps in the stock location. I extended them 3 inches... At first it wasn't so bad but then I got a better front suspension and now I want to go faster. They've also settled so I hit them all the time. Pretty sure I'm around 5" of lift... 25 1/2" hub to fender

    Additionally I have the rear strapped to not overextend my shocks.... Seems like the only solution is a 14" or 16" shock :/

    yea. I have them too. They compress a lot. but man they work good for a rubber bump!

    Yea I've got a set of already welded up BAMF sliders, already powder coated, but I have a feeling they're gonna rub. Wondering what I can do to install them now and make sure they don't rub on glass down the road...

    They will rub, adjust the mounts at an angle outward? Might give clearance

    mostly stock
    Put it on jack stands, turn it full stop one direction, and spin the tire. If you feel binding you know what it is. Could be the front diff too, maybe a hung up 4wd actuator? Probably an inner tripod joint on the CV though, look for cracks.

    Well, the legs are already welded up to the sliders, all that needs to be done is weld frame plates to the frame and sliders to the frame plates, so I'm not exactly sure what I can do with that
