Maybe they use after market wheels?

I have no problem on my stock wheels & stock suspension.

i got these put on at Town Fair Tire (265/70/17/C), along with a new set of TRD 17" Wheels. I had to have them align the truck twice and re-balance the wheels 3 times. They keep telling me that the KO2s are impossible to balance and i keep calling BS on them. The third time seems to be best so far but i still get a little wobble and shake when im going over 65 on the highway. It seems like most of you guys aren't getting that and have a super smooth ride at all speeds?

Could someone recommend a shop near Old Saybrook CT that does a proper balance on these tires?

I had DT rebalanced twice. I requested a master tech to do it the 2nd time and everything was good.

Did they use Road force balancing?

    Good luck!

No rubbing, stock suspension. No vibrating. More quiet than expected. Love them so far.

I think the 265's look prefect on your truck. How high is your life? I have the same tires and fit good at sock height but I'm lifting the truck in December with 6112's, 5160's and a 3 leaf progressive AAL. Your height looks really good with those tires.

265/70R16 is the stock tire size for TRD OffRoads so just google that. Most people upsize to 265/75R16, is that the tire size you mean? First picture is stock size, second(beach) is with 265/75R16s. Both have stock suspensions.

That just looks like there would be rubbing. From what everyone says there isn't on a stock setup but I am still questions it. Want to get these for winter but keep thinking they will rub.

    Bannerman,

    Nice set up

Thanks for the pics... I don't think I am upgrading size as I will stick with 265/70/16 KO2 I have been on the fence with this for sometime now as I have heard some say locally the 265/75/16 KO2 have had some very minor issues with rubbing over some terrain the 265/70/16 almost same exact size just 12 lbs heavier....

They will only rub on the inner fender at full lock while compressing (like when turning into a banked driveway).

Reports saying they won't rub on stock suspension are false, but it doesn't rub enough to worry about either... so take it for what it's worth.
