Yeah I could probably handle it being black but I wouldnt want to pay quite that much for a black one. Not that your asking price is not fair, I would justify it more personally if it were white. How heavy are those shells? Obviously its a two person job but could I suspend it from my garage or something when I didnt want it on the truck? I only really want it for camping etc.

 

You could definitely hang a shell from your garage, a lot of people do and set it up on a pully system so they can drive under and load/unload it yourself. Its definitely a two man job to unload not because of the weight but because of the bulky/awkwardness. I have unloaded one alone before by standing in the middle and putting it on my back and walking off the tail gate on a gmc sierra, pretty sketchy wouldnt recommend it unless youre desperate

 

Here are a few more shots. I made a cart for it so the edges dont get chewed up on the floor. Cart goes with it if the buyer wants.

I got a black one on my super white and so does a friend. Looks better IMO but to each his own, plus OP's price is excellent GLWS.

 

Willing to entertain other interesting trades like electronics or firearms.

 

You're right, I just reused the sealing each time and never had any issues with water or anything getting in even during really heavy rains. But obviously having the original seal without removing the shell is the best bet. I will say though having a shell becomes so convenient, you might not want to remove it as much as you think haha
