    Hi Everyone,
    Quick question - I have a 2005 PreRunner, double cab, TRD Sport Tacoma;

    In the bed we have two storage 'containers' that are kept in place with the plastic covers that can be removed by twisting the knob;

    Anyhow, I was wondering if these storage containers could be modified so that they could only be opened with a key and/or lock of sometype; I've looked around a bit and have found no solution and figured I'd ask the folks here;

    Would appreciate any feedback as to locking those storage containers;

    Thanks!

    I really wish these locked as well. To easy for someone to help themselves to your straps / gear, ect.

    I'm searching but can't find... I came across a thread a while back ago where someone made these storage doors for inside the bed out of metal... Anyone recall?? Storage is a perfect fit for my hitch, off road hitches, etc. But because of the weight, the plastic doors eventually open themselfves up and all my parts slide around in the bed (I have a bed cover). Thanks ya!

    Nope, I had a shell so bed security wasn't a concern for me. I looked into all those options before ending up with the shell though.

    image.jpg I like it. I do have a bed cover, security wasn't the issue for me. Needed something more duarable than a plastic door for heavy items. It's also a little deeper for more junk. Install was easy other than minor filing for 2 of the holes.
