Thanks. Thanks a lot for expunging all the optimistic visions I've been sharing with my wife of your camp sites with tiny folding toddler chairs set up, and your darling daughter having fun as you educate her about geomorphology. My wife's spirits were bouyed by this potential departure from her Dairy Queen status and Sir Fussalot groping her chest with his tiny, sharp claws.

Now all I can see is windowlicking, filth, and zombie-like resignation from existence.

We are really really really looking forward to flying to MIL's in Chicago for Christmas. Really. I hear there are never any ice storms or blizzards, and O'Hare is like a finely oiled machine.

Still, I can't wait to make some adventure stories with Bennett and his truck.

Yup. Sad, but insidious on theor part. Buyers are less likely to tear off branding if that is the result. This is why I'm considering filling it in, since I'lll have the whole thing pro painted anyway. Perfect opportunity to deal with that.
On the XQs, it is at the front corner.

Like this. BTW, fucking love this rig. Pyrite was my next choice after silver, but it wouldn't match the teardrop...and silver hides scratches...

Thanks! Take lots of pics because time is going to fly and he'll grow up quick! It's only going to get better with each day (after the hard parts, lol) I'm sure you're going to have some great adventures together.

Pyrite with bronze is possibly my favorite combo.

Though, Spruce and Timberland Mica are pretty sexy too. I have a thing for green trucks.

Yeah, it's good. You should see it with bronze Coutnersteers.

I am looking harder at the anthracite gunmetal because of this. It is more toward silver than gray, tinge of blue hue. I cannot find and silver sky metallics sporting them. I'm reluctant to go that route rather than black without clarity on the outcome. Antrcite on the right (compared to graphite on left).

Rather than the "shade lighter than Pyrite" concept, it would be "a shade darker than Silver Sky."

Aren't you picking them up locally?

You could just not commit until you see them in person and take one out in the sun.

Uh, that was the 01 Homeroshi handoff...dad conveyed it back there after a recent visit, and they buyer come up from SF to meet him. So that is $315 straight to the 15 Homersoshi fund. :D Looks like Craig is nearly ready to start on those. And this will be a 15 minute mod I can squeeze in between, uh, whatever chaos is afoot.

WTF is the matter with your memory of my life's minute details? You just give birth or something?

No. Behind the seat storage. I know, pretty random and vague. Just an inspirational reminder of the creative solutions and materials we can use.

I should recommend Trex to Pete.

I just remarked in another thread yesterday that I don't understand why Toyota added that silly (IMO) center console in the rear of the AC? Pre 09 you got that flat open platform simply by flipping the seats forward.

EDIT: Another reason to hang onto my current truck as long as possible. ;)

Yeah, I had never seen that before. That was a WTF, let's make it less user friendly for truck owners...and DCs don't get them...WTF? Not that I want one.

Rear seat consoles have no business in any vehicle that does not come with a chauffeur. Because Grey Poupon, motherfucker, how can you pass it if you don't have some in your rear-seat console?

Not sure who the market is on some of this stuff ... but it obviously isn't our demographic. :notsure:
