You're missing the point. It's not losing. It's how and when the loss occurs. Dabo declaring plans for a pizza party in the stadium the same week you're ranked number one is optimum clemsoning potential.

(verb) 1. When you are widely favored to succeed and instead crash & burn. 2. Failing miserably and/or by a wide margin 3. Horribly embarrassing yourself in front of loved ones and strangers alike. 4. Having multiple records broken against you in front of a large audience.

This is a later and more detailed definition that encompasses that one and the one that it actually is.

 

Coffeesnobbing: When a person or persons jumps on a bandwagon and or jock of a team that is winning thus said person becomes a fan of said team furthermore becoming a doucher of very large proportions.

"Dude did you see Clemson is #1 this week?" "Yeah bro i'm there number 1 fan". Dude don't be coffeesnobbing up in this bitch bro"

 

I'm sure he'll be declaring the ACC #1 now by virtue of Rudy's basketball association.

 

Not new at all. The original quote was that they were set up perfect to have a "Clemsoning." Which to me mean that if they lose saturday then that's Clemsoning. Sorry but that doesn't compute on any level.
If Clemson is #1 and loses to Wake Forest, yes I agree. Use the phrase all anyone wants in that situation. Otherwise its just football.

 

Negative I could care less how the ACC is seen. I don't wave my conferences flag around hoping for relevance. My team sucks at basketball because they suck at basketball, not because they're in the ACC.

I mean it is the largest spread that FSU has ever had in a regular season ACC game as an underdog, so it would be pretty big to win, and a huge loss for y'all as well.

 

I mean Clemson won't lose by any means but just saying it's not like you're USCjr or Wake...

True, and I was more just throwing out the fact that its our first ever ACC regular season game being a double digit underdog.

 

I can't help what Vegas says. I think I saw that LSU is over a touchdown underdog to Bama as well.

So a Bama LSU ticket just kinda fell into my lap. I now have a difficult decision about what to do this weekend.

 

I already sold my parking pass (I just tailgate and watch all the games at my tailgate) because the rain. What's the weather supposed to be like at the LSU game?

 

Haven't looked yet. My choices here are basically stay in Tally and go to a Waka Flocka show tomorrow night then just chill and watch football all day saturday, or drive to T Town tomorrow and tailgate the biggest game so far this year. Also I just completely talked myself into going to the game while typing this out.

 

Supposed to rain all day Friday and Saturday. Mudbutt Slugfest is what I'm hoping for.
