I already commented in the thread and subbed for later, but I must say that is an incredible write up / walk through that even the electrically challenged should be able to use to slowly work their way through the project. I've had to write up my own detailed instructions for things before and I know that must have taken you a ton of time to do. All I can say is kudos and I'm sure that will help a lot of people out.

Also really like the finished work, looks professional

Thanks! And you're right, it took a buttload of time. I also stepped back for a couple months as a break. Then kitsym motivated me to finally complete it. I'm glad he did, because I don't like unfinished projects.

Without going into too much detail, I've got some really strong reasons why I wrote this tutorial and published it here on TW. Some know why, but the main reason is to give back to the community and provide all of the information in one location. Of course, this is only one way to build and install one of these. But there's enough information here that people can modify and adjust with confidence. Publishing the tutorial not only helps those who choose to build one themselves, but it offers another option aside from relying on someone else to make and deliver.

So it is a direct plug in? Which system did you originally have? I've been thinking about doing this if a used one pops up.

Finally got around to take a few pictures of some recent upgrades. Got new wheels, tires, OME lift, front bumper, winch and some seat covers from Marathon. I also installed my Ultra Gauge this morning.

No pics. But ive been busy with small mods. And troublesome tires. I just plastidipped my rear chrome to black, i think it turned out great, i got a 3 inch tear on my inner side wall with only 14k miles on it, that was 2 days ago. I also picked up my sos sliders 2 weeks ago and had them line x'd 2 days ago. I get a new phone in 2 weeks and with it ill have a functioning camera again

Been thinking about derping the bumper. Not sure if I'll go black or white of I do.

Sorry to hear about your tire! That sucks.

Thinking about a new phone myself. Nexus 6P maybe.

I think black looks better IMHO. for masking the rest of the truck from over spreay i used trash bags. I also just manually taped the black plastic instead of removing it.
Im getting the s6 active in grey

Installed @mattgecko LED Bedlightnkit. Got the Pro version since I don't know the first thing about wiring stuff. Partway through ran out and grabbed a crimping and stripping tool, since I ruined one of the crimps using a pair of pliers. Now let there be light! Super stoked now that it's dark so early o_O
