With a little work, the 98-00 is the sexiest front end imho. But let's face it, stock it's the ugliest. Oh i miss my 99

Brake pads and inner tie rods are worn out. Both have less than 10k miles on them. WTF!

Anybody been able to get ahold of rack dr.? This should be under warranty but their contact form just shows an error message.

I'm not a fan of those dark blues. I do like blue ribbon, speedway blue, and that new blue pearl

Are you very lifted? Just curious because the inner tie rods basically become the down travel stop for the front end and that'll certainly take them out. Also I would check for a stuck piston or over tightened wheel nuts (goons at wheel shops are lazy and torque sticks aren't the most accurate invention) to correct your wear problem.

Yeah the Speedway Blue is the one I keep noticing my eyes going towards. Kudos to Toyota for that one.

It should be the shock reaching the end of it's travel. The bj binding would be f'ed up

I was just wondering if he was lifted because that would mean less down travel (from ride height) and possibly hitting the limits earlier than a stock height vehicle. I'm not sure if the UBJ or the tie rods bind first though. @Blackdawg or @jberry813

Spent most of the day playing with my Toy.

It's a silver, standard cab, 4 Cylinder, 2002 Prerunner with the style side bed and I love it. It's pretty high in the air and my wife doesn't like to climb in or out of it, but that's kind of OK with me.

New NGK spark plugs were the first order of business this morning, then I did a first class job of washing, polishing (& clay bar[ing]), and waxing the body. It's never been cleaner and it still starts and runs so I guess I didn't screw up the spark plug installation too badly. The new plugs were more trouble than I expected though as the middle two on my 2.7 I-4 are directly under some air intake apparatus that really didn't want to get moved. It was a tough fight, but I won.

A day well spent I think.

Not only do you take good care of your truck, but you use brackets inside parentheses, like you're supposed to. Good man.

I doubt the wheels are on too tight, the shop that did everything today knows their stuff and doesnt rush through it. I bet i have a stuck piston

Yea that sucks. Well if you want these black turn signals on my stock bumper let me know. I have switchback bulbs in them but this week I'm gonna retrofit some projectors in a set of them to have as fog lights
