    I will be installing my winch here in a weekend or two. I need to take my sister to the local community college this weekend or next to get registered for college.
    Did you order baja lights? I was able to buy some from another forum member. Should be getting them soon. brand new in box too, he didnt even open them.

    Dude, working CDOC? my respects. I wouldnt have the balls to do it.

    The ride is okay. It is a little rough. I got the 650 lb springs. The aftermarket bumper (savage) helps a lot. The winch ill be installing here in a few weeks should help

    Thatta boy!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    "Facility Lockdown" is another phrase we never want to hear! No one in or out of the prison till the Warden says so. That is the truth being 24/7, sometimes it is rough, and it always seems to hit on your Friday when they hold you over. The one nice thing about my facility is they will only make you work 12 hours if someone calls out. They will bring the next shift in 4 hours early to relieve you, that way you don't have do a full 16. Closest I have gotten to a full double is 14 hours.

    We have a little bit in town, but the mountains just outside of town got a pretty good dumping today. The Ski Lodge I got my season pass for opens the second weekend of December, patiently waiting now.

    Hahah knew you like the 4Runner in the snow. Glad to hear the bumper is helping with those springs, apparently the 600's are too soft for winch and bumper. What winch did you go with?

    I HATE you lol. I didn't know a guy on the forum made these, and I found them literally the day after I put the TRD ones on mine. I am debating between the Smittybilt and Engo winches.

    That's awesome, I screwed up the first set I ordered. I really wish I knew about these before I installed.

    Apparently they are a pretty good winch especially for the price, I have also heard that about the Smittybilt as well.

    @ramonortiz55 I heard these are pretty good winches. I myself went with a Warn. Couldn't afford the one I wanted...but I'm still very happy with it. I got the VR10,000lb! Whatever you do...get the biggest winch you can. I know 10,000 Is huge for our 4Runners...but when you're stuck or need pulled up a hill or helping someone else...it's nice to not have to work your winch that hard. And your guaranteed to get out! I watched I guy that was stuck in mud...he had a 8,000. No can do...he couldn't get out. So why spend money and carry around a winch if it's not going to help you?? Just something to think about:popcorn:
    image.jpg
    @RedRunner87 Engo is a good winch. Actually to be honest with you...IMHO, I'd buy an Engo before I bought a Smittybilt...sorry @ramonortiz55 :sorry:!! From what I've heard and read...that would be my choice. But I've never owned either one. Here's one of what seems like hundreds positive reviews. With that said...if I bought a Smittybilt...that's the one Id buy!! It looks awesome..slick looking!!

    I swear I didn't model my 4Runner after yours lol. I am really liking the Engo, just debating synthetic line or not.
