Jax and I got out for a swim and a hike today. Hit some dirt road to get there :) The truck is clean and the tent is off. Feels like a race car without that weight back there!

I wish it was as easy as cars... Just bolt one up!

The recent header contact on the coil bucket makes me wonder if the passenger side is already bent in a bit...

Lookin good Marc! Still sold on solid mount lowers and heim uppers? I am have another set of spindles that I will be gusseting and throwing on, going to pull the lowers and see how the derlin has held up to a year of being tacked in. Definitely think keeping things parallel down there is the way to go though. Have you rechecked your alignment since the initial setup?

Yea been great! Rechecked once early on and it was still the same numbers.

I'm about due for a good once over on the front end, I'll do that when I get the motor mounts in. Yea the arm kept parallel in the mounts should really help bushing life!

I have rubbed on the dk upper on the front when the tire is turned all the way in. I just had to drop the caster a bit and its not rubbing. Also, the resi hose has been getting rubbed. Next time i rebuild the shocks i'm going to put a 90* bend so it doesnt rub anymore.

Looking for some input. Ordering tires in the next week.

    Two options:

    BFG KO2 285/75/16 32.8" Diameter, 9" tread width

    BFG KO2 295/75/16 33.4" Diameter, 9.5" tread width

My current Goodyear MTR's are 33.1" Diameter and 8.2" tread width for reference.

I dont think the jump from 33.1 to 33.4 is going to be enough to really notice gearing wise? Width I'm going to have an issue with since I already rub a bit on my uca... nothing some small spacers cant fix. Going to probably have to trim fenders too since i like to go fast and stuff the tire alot :burnrubber: :p

What you guys think? I think it just comes down to how much trimming and effort in alignment im up for haha.

I was leaning towards 285 because I can just put them on and be done with it... But I should just not be lazy right... Haha

Yea Monte gears should happen too... Would make crawling so much more enjoyable. Not sure how 4.56 would be with the 295's...
