I cleaned my leafs on Tuesday, and looks like I didn't even touch my front yard.

Going to tackle it again tomorrow. It'll be the 3rd time I clean them up already. A lot of big oaks and stuff...

Not to mention all the damn hazelnuts I have on my yard too. Seems more than past years, but whatever.

What kind of blowers does everyone have?

 

I just mulch my leaves up with a few passes of the push mower and then use it to bag them. Go small lawn. Otherwise I use the personal powered variety(rake)

When I first bought my house, I bought a cheapo Echo from Home Depot. Weak... didn't realize how much leafs I'd have, so struggled the first year or two. Then, got involved with my buddy and helped him cut lawns on Saturday, so he bought the really good stuff. Sthil 600 commercial blowers. Took a liking to it, saved up the money I was making with him and dropped $500+ on a commercial blower for myself last year. A Shindawa EB854T. That thing is bad ass!

 

I have a small yard and use an electric blower. It works pretty well actually.

 

Electric as well but I only use it on the edges. I just bag it up with my tractor. 14 bags last weekend and gonna be a few bedloads tomorrow going to the recycle center

 

Can't wait to destroy pumpkins tomorrow.

 

Boomsticks or Trebuchets?

 

Boomsticks. Bringing the SBR. Also, tannerite for good effect.

 

took the truck to boch for the first oil change, asked them to rotate the tires and never questioned whether or not they did it. just looking over the invoice from that trip today (i don't even know why) and it wasn't noted on there. ughhhhhhhh

 

Last year I did 32 truck loads of leaves . I'll cut that in half now that I have the gmc long bed . Usually it's starts snowing before all the leaves are off the trees .

 

I just leave mine where they drop. The birds scratch them around a lot looking for bugs, and by the time the grass starts growing in the spring they've mostly been shredded away to nothing.
We used to rake them up into a pile and toss them in the wood, but the birds would just spread it back out and it'd get blown back into the yard.

 

I definitely need to buy a chain saw next spring . I did 4 loads and blew everything in the woods 2 days ago .

I have a Husky backpack blower. Troybilt vacuum/chopper sucker-upper. Looks like a push mower, but worth it's weight in gold.
Town I live in picks up leaves, but bagged only. The vacuum /chopper reduces the leaves from about 100 bags to less than 40.

 

Oh boy. Going to see my Dad now. He's in the ICU, he had a heart attack.
