$39282 (no ttl) for a Silver Sky Limited w/tow package from Pecheles Toyota in Washington NC. Gave me a fair price on my trade and there said they had agreed with another dealer to do a swap to get it . Other dealer (Stokes Brown Toyota of Beaufort, SC) finds out truck is sold and does not want to swap truck but agrees to contact me to do deal. Talk to them and they say the Pecheles sold the truck under invoice and there was no way I could get what I got for my trade and would have to increase the price of truck and give less for trade. Told him no deal.
Looks like Pecheles will be ordering me one. We will see tomorrow.

    2016 Tacoma Limited
    Bought it today:
    7582 - LIMITED DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO
    TO - Towing Package
    CJ - Bed Mat
    CF - Carpet Floor Mats
    D9 - door sill protectors
    GN - Cargo Net
    MF - Mudguards
    TC - Tonneau Cover
    R2 - 5" Oval Tube Step Black
    TG - D-Rings
    WI - Spare Tire Lock
    V5 - Security System VIP RS3200 Plus
    3P - Paint Protection Film

    Invoice + $750

I consider it a fair price given the lack of inventory in the area (NJ). The dealer was excellent to work with.

Irrespective of the good intentions of the dealer, I really don't expect it before January, given the upcoming holidays...

Sales must be slowing a bit. Dealers who never contacted me back, starting to call me and e-mail me.

I see that too. My filter box is filling up with emails quicker now. I'm letting then sit a few days and I'll respond to every one of them this weekend

The one dealership close by me has had the same 3 trd DCSB models and 1 sr5 DCSB model for at least 2 weeks now. They are certainly not selling like hotcakes around me. Maybe i will get a better deal when I go to buy if I just wait a while?

Might even wait until Jan. More time to learn and more time for any potential problems to arise with this new model.

Thoughts on this offer: DCSB TRD OR 4x4 Manual with Tow, Premium & Tech., Mud Guards: $34,000. I will still owe TTL at closing.

I've seen less on this forum, but am now confused as to whether those folks got the Sport or the OR and whether manual or Auto. I remember DerekG in Colorado got $34,651 out the door (which included TTL - that's an excellent price) and I think TMIGirl got $31,700, but there was a 'discount' involved, so don't know what that was about.

That sounds great from what I've seen here. About $600 over invoice with no dealer BS. Do it!

Then why are you looking at SR5? Plenty of dealers have OR DCSB

It's worth it for me. I like the heated seats for our winters, and I love having a moonroof. Made the mistake of buying one of my 4Runners without the moonroof, and it sucked.

I might have gotten the JBL but with my configuration (TRDOR6MT) it wasn't offered. Oh well. More fun mods for me

why does a vehicle suck without a moonroof?
