    I read his comment and I dont understand your question. He pretty much answered your question, because bigger engines have more torque down low.

    I never said anything about HP and torque ratings, I was just speaking of actual RPMs. Two references could be how a 600cc motorcycle has a higher rev limit than a 750cc. Although the 750 has a larger engine and more power the 600 can rev higher and therefore has a wider power band. second reference could be how a diesel engine has very low rpms compared to a gas engine of the same displacement but creates much more torque at very low rpms. The towing scenario you mentioned has less to do with engine power and more to do with transmission strength, gearing, frame stability, and braking power, and we all know with the drum brakes that the tacoma isnt meant to tow lol.
