Hey Chris, how long after the build occurs does it take for the temp Vin to vanish and the real Vin to populate? Mine was supposed to be built today, and I want to know how long I should wait before I bother my dealer to see if the Vin changed?

My build date was 10/29 and STILL no switch to real VIN. All the dealer daily shows for my temp VIN is the build date 10/29. I to am wondering when it actually switches to a real vin (when its built, or maybe once it hits port?) and when the dealer daily gets updated. Kind of worries me that I dont have a real VIN and my build date has passed.

 

Is yours a Baja or Texas build?

Chris, if you have the time could you check mine again? When you last checked a couple weeks ago, the production date was bumped up a few days to 11/12. I'm curious if its still slated to be built this coming week...

Hey guys new to the forum here's mine 3TMCZ5AN5GM48A901

 

I am a very NOOB here to this forum and this will be my first TACO. my question is, how come some members are given an ACTUAL VIN, but my dealer provide me a TEMP VIN 3TMCZ5AN3GM43B003?

 

My TACO was scheduled to be built 11/04/15, but my dealer has no update for me.
