If you want a camero get the real deal '69 z28 4 spd, if you want a mustang get a '66 gt350 4spd and if you really want a podge challenger get a '71 340-6pak, those are real muscle cars and you won't have to be part of that "gold chain crowd' cruising in some crap srt-8 challenger. just my .02:)

love the look of the camero but the mustang can waste its ASS! and if I'm going for a car that looks like that I want a fast one

The camaro is the 05-06 GTO resurected. I had a 05 GTO and if the new Maro has the same drivetrain (rear end) be careful. The rear end is a 7.5" 10 bolt, way to small/light. the posi is garbage. I went through 3 rearends auto crossing. If you dont keep them burn outs straight and one wheels stops the posi is shredded and the gears take a beating, cant handle the power of the car with that tiny rearend. Other than that 400+ ponies and 400+ torque out of that 6L is addictive and i miss the hell out of that car.

Sold it when i got laid-off.

Until Sunday I would have said the Camaro, then I stopped at the ford Dealer and looked at a 2010 GT 500. The Mustang is way better looking. The performance between the two is comparable, bu the Ford wins on looks. The Camaro has a much better price point, but I never cared much for Chevy's, they always seemed cheaply made to me.

The looks / horsepower... does anyone care how they handle?
(oh wait .. I see votes here for M3, Lexus, Vette - I guess someone thinks it's important)

ive always been a shelby fan and still am. so i went with the gt 500. body style is way better than the camaro. though the "500" actually puts out a little less than 500hp on the dyno, i still love it
