5c and 5d are shot gun I can't remember but I can ask my buddy where he goes riffle hunting, pretty sure thats on public land.

 

Fyi, PA is one of two states that doesn't allow semi autos for hunting.

 

Cool, I've got an inline, going down to VA next week for 2 days of muzzloader and two days of rifle.

Sounds like a local meet would be helpful on your cap decision making process Liz . Joe, Jerry, & I all have them.

The best advice I could give you would be to keep your eyes peeled on craigslist as there are many local deals on them pop up from time to time.

Hell, if it wouldn't of been for Jerry I wouldn't have one I have now on my truck!

If you can't find one the right color we can certainly get you connected with the shop that can paint it Speedway blue.

To give you an idea of the price difference if you haven't done the research yet: mine retailed for over $2000 and I got it for $600 cash used.
I know that Joe and Jerry also got similar deals...

As for a front bumper, you are 100% correct and not having to augment the front suspension when you go with an aluminum aftermarket one. should you choose a steel plate number you most certainly would have to adjust for the added weight. The only way to get around that is if you go with the steel hybrid that doesn't weigh much more than the aluminum ones.

I can tell you that for strength you can't go wrong with aluminum. I offroaded the hell out of my truck with an aluminum plate bumper for a couple years with no issues.

 

I didn't know Daniel Craig drove a Tacoma.

 

Now the picture loads. That sort of milspec dump trailer would be nice, and would let me set up the bed for permanent storage.

Just need NJ and MD to fix their laws, or get a new daily driver....

I have been looking, trying to figure out what exactly to look for is my issue, that and I'm new to this whole craigslist thing.
Did you all get them through CL?

 

Cant drive to a destination in either state with guns in the car; can only drive through to another free state. Part of a permanent set up would be a set of cases for hunting/shooting.

 

I picked mine up from a friend of Jerry's who's looking to get rid of it. I believe both Joe and Jerry pick theirs up from CL deals.

We've got a couple of guys on here that do that on a regular basis. Most Tacoma parts at a good deal are posted in the Northeast craigslist find thread.

 

The trick is to look often, good stuff goes quick on CL, and overpriced junk stays forever.

And if you get bored, go read the personnals.

 

Check out searchtempest. It searches multiple craigslists by zipcode instead of just whatever city you're on
