    I stand by my previous statement, but I think how you are armed matters. Everybody in Bosnia was nice to us because there was an AC-130H at 4,000 feet that could brrrrrrrrrrt them before they knew what happened.

    You would be surprised. Get out of the metro areas and Americans are kind, generous, polite, and friendly.
    Probably the same in Canada. I'd also love to visit the rural areas of your great country.

    Weird, we went on a road trip from CA to AL this summer, I found people in Utah to be nice but nowhere near those in the south.

    Not if they find out you're from CA, which surprisingly I haven't found really at all being here, only place I experienced that was Texas.

    I've felt that a bit here but mostly it seems people are genuinely nice.

    Funny how we all have different experiences, I've been really happy to be away from Californians.
