Need new LEAFS ASAP, who makes some good cheap ones? Oxymoron?

Hey guys, so I have a set of Air lift bags...and very worn 3 packs. Loaded my truck today with the following

42 concrete blocks ( about 45/50# each)
8 Bags of concrete (80 lbs each)
14 bags of rock salt (50 lbs each)
4 bundles of shingles ( 50/60 lbs each)

tires were flat, leafs were backwards, blew the bags, and my springs now are upside down, beyond flat, i mean the passenger side has a wave up and down.
And both rear shocks are blown.

I get it, I overloaded it, but im used to having 1 tons, ( this has actually got me thinking sell the taco for an older 1 ton) but i get decent miliage and its only got 50 K on it)


So I need new leaf packs, I want ones that are more heavy duty, that will handle weight a little better.

I've been seaching but can only find for the first gen. So does anyone know what companies sell a good replacement leaf pack for a 2006 tacoma?

I found a full set *4* shipped 5100's so that will cover the shocks, but i need the springs bad, and fast I use my truck to haul most days, and I can't put more then 50lbs in the bed right now.

id say you overloaded it just a little. i assume you aren't lifted correct? also, are you still under warranty? it you are you may be able to get the tsb done even though you blew out the leafs .

most aftermarket leaf packs decrease payload capacity though the ome dakar leaf pack actually increases payload capacity. but the dakars give you about 2.75" of lift in the rear so you'd have to set the 5100's at 2.5" to make your truck look right.

wheelersoffroad.com has some leaf pacs from deaver and alcan and what not but they decrease payload capacity. you could get the timbern suspension enhancment system to help with that though

 

I would like to see pictures of that...with over 3500 pounds that had to have made a splash

Yea appearently my little taco Does not like carrying 3000 lbs worth of crap. I'm still getting used to not having an 8 ft bed with a Dana 80 under it. But I am making due, Aside from doing construction on the side, I commute 80 miles round trip to work, and the gas, ride was killing me in the 1 ton. So for 2/3 years until i NEED to go back to a full size ( when my daughter gets cramped in the back) I will make due.


I am not lifted at all, and I will set the 5100's at max, will i need UCA's? Im not looking to lift the truck for lifts sake, but if i can find a set of springs that will actually increase my Load capasity that would rock.

 

PS sorry guys, didn't take any, it was riding awful ever bump felt like i was going to crack the frame, As soon as i got home i unloaded as fast as i possibly could to get the weight off, i put a jack under the hitch just to get some of the weight out, I realized about 10 min after i was done, it would have made a great picture!!! I looked like the beverly hill billy truck, I had 500 lbs of salt resting on my tool box in the bed.!!!

 

You couldve bought a trailer to hold all that instead of new springs and blown air bags, ARGH.
Basically you tripled the payload, you might want to look at that axle too.
