I mean the ability to use it as an old school tv lol. Some of my friends still have peasant vision :anonymous:

Hands down a very high end PC monitor will be better than a 32" TV. Manufacturers usually cut out a lot of the high end components from TV's under 40" because of their low price point. The PC market is competitive enough on specifications on the size though that you can find a lot of gaming gems.

Huh? You mean using a projector as a screen?

    I use this

32" monitor works fine for me

    Yeahhh, I mean projector screen.

Planning out a home theater room, and am trying to ensure I get a projector that is gaming-friendly so that I can use it for that.

    No worries! The search continues!

Projectors and "decent" home gaming dont mix. In fact anything projector and gaming doesnt match. Colors get washed out, clarity isn't there.there is just justifiable reason unless you just want a large screen.
    And you suck

Fair 'nuff. Again, doing a media room regardless - not really a 'gaming room', but was hoping someone had found one that works well.

I will say an old unit I was in had a video gaming room, and we had some great times playing on a 120" with a projector playing some local 4-player games. However, we're not 'serious gamers' by any means - just a great party activity.

I personally would go with a larger led screen than projector. Washed out colors kill me. While you will lose some viewing area per cost, i think youll get more for your money

Buddy of mine used to play MW on a HD projector in a dark room we had set up in the back where we all used to play. Like you said, colors were washed out and you lose a lot of detail. I still play on a 27" computer monitor at the station and I would much rather play on that. He was always getting killed because he couldn't make out what he was looking at (or maybe he just sucked). Either way... for dedicated gaming I would go with a LED screen "personally".

You can play games on projectors just fine. Problem is you have to have the proper room and a big budget. Going with a 500 dollar projector and cheap screen will look like crap compared to a similar budgeted tv. But be willing to spend 2-3k and itll look amazing.

When the PS4 was coming out we went to a Sony store in San Diego. They had it setup in one of their "media rooms" showing off all the higher end stuff. 120" screen, projector, their home theater speakers....was pretty impressive.

Yup... Farming HM now. I read somewhere the other day that less than 1% of the player population have completed HM. Still fun and they are adding new shit all the time. Raid is still a lot of fun along with a lot of other things in the game. Like I said before... This is the game they should have released last year. Haven't put in MGS since the expansion.

HM emblem and level 313. I can be 314 depending on what weapons I equip.

Nice. Well if the expansion ever gets cheap i may debate it, or just see what happens for future dlc. I enjoyed doing the raids, strikes are what bored the shit out of me and bounties that repeated every day.

ESO kinda died on me, played for a few weeks straight and just got burned out. I may eventually go back to reach veteran levels though.

Eagerly waiting for tuesday to pick up fallout, looks like my type of game with tons of weapons, skills/perks and no level cap. While maintaining offline playability since hotel internet sucks when im traveling.

Sweet. I watched a youtube video about how the environment is interactive with storms rolling in. That looked awesome. Fallout is going to have some of that as well with radiation storms.

Yeah , there are crazy electrical dust storms that can destroy your vehicles and easily kill you if you get caught out in the open . The daytime / night time transition also results in different random enemy types too
