Drove to Cabella's. Bought pair of hikers. Decided I needed to get (the income from) 3 MORE jobs. A few nice 4wd's in the lot! One VERY nice Willys pick-em-up truck vintage 1949 with what looks like a mid 90's Ford chassis under it.

Drive like there's a baby bird under the gas pedal.

Very old men in hats and glasses give me the bird as the blow past me. I drive very slow when I can.

I'm going out tomorrow to try and loosen it, hopefully the wingnut who changed the oil and filter got laid last night and doesn't have the strength of ten men.

Here are the pics of where I put the switches for the heated seat adder I just finished putting in.
    Seat heater switch.jpg

I learnt that all hog rings are not created equal and that the hog rings and pliers you get from Home Depot are not the same as what you need for your upholstery in the truck....
Wanted to recess the switches, but just couldn't work out a way to do that so that the inside edge of the switch was level with the console and the outside edge just a little proud. They have to go in on a bit of an angle, otherwise you cannot get the plug to plug in....

Today I had my square tube sliders installed and also got my camburg UCA's into the truck. My ECGS bushing also went in so I cranked my SAWs a little bit too. Pics to follow. I traveled to get this done with the help of a friend and I'm about to hit the road back home. I am glad to be rid of the stock tube steps.

Edit: Pics show when we were mocking them up and the last one on the alignment rack shows the final setup. I didn't take pics while doing the bushing (there are plenty out there I'm sure) but I did get one of the final install of the UCAs. I've always liked square sliders so I was glad that my buddy was able to make me a set exactly like the ones I had on my 02 Dcab. Mounted my fire extinguisher and shovel inside my cap, used the same bolt holes that are on the window frame. Also started to plasti-dip my rims black, been thinking of doing it for awhile now due to all the corrosion on them. Started sanding them down and prepping them, got one completely done before it got too dark out.

Well today was a productive day for me. Got my new to me PrInSu roof rack. That I got from @el taco loco on thursday. I also finally got ecgs bushing put in after having it for a month and a half. Got it all done with the help of @Squeaky Penguin.

Now I just need my new brute force high clearence bumper come in, so I can complete my new look.
