    it means that the first two shims are lighter than the rest of the stack, and that between those shim and the remainder of the stack is a flutter shim that allows the first two shims to flex a little more before coming in to contact with the stack. it means that the initial will be lighter than the mid/high speed. valving is based off of shaft speeds. so slow or street driving will be comfortable and then it will ramp up as you start hitting bigger/faster speed hits.

    the shocks you bought in 7/2014' are fox specific shocks for the 5 lug Tacoma. we didn't set them up.

    I thought you guys added a flutter or something. Truck handles and rides great so I'm not complaining. Although, I'm curious what valving is in the rear.

    Has anyone found a good replacement to the OEM rag joint that pairs the steering column to the rack? Looking for a u joint type plug and play option to replace the sloppy ass rag joint that comes on these things...

    On the instillation instructions that TC sent me. It said to swap my Tie rods to opposite sides. I tried calling but they are closed until monday. Any one know if it's correct. It just seems odd.

    It's not odd, it's geometry. If you are not doing heim steering upgrade, you flop the tie rods passenger to driver and vice versa.

    No, its the steering column which is only supplied by toyota
    Im not following. I know a rack isnt centered stock so why would swapping tie rods help?

    It's kit specific. I can't speak for Matt's kit or second gens. But on the TC kit for first gens, if you don't swap the tie rods you run into clearance issues.
