The Florida Panhandle and Surrounding Area Tacos Thread Thing

There is no on-road performance benefits, plain and simple. We don't need a sway bar on-road, but I'd suggest that you find an empty road and yank the wheel side to side to get a feel, and also find an empty stretch on a highway and try a butt-puckering brake from 60-ish to know what it'll do.

You do get used to it. I find that I have to baby it more in the corners when I have passengers, but when I'm alone..body roll away.

Also, BadBrains, there are only 7 MTR Kevlar left in the country, they are phasing them out...

 

Damn, I didn't do too bad aligning that front end lol. The shops always try to get you back to factory numbers, hence they shot for 3 degrees caster. You may notice the steering more touchy now. I think I'm going to go for 4 degrees next alignment.

The Kevlars aren't usually kept in stock in high numbers. When I got mine they had to get 3 from one location and the fourth from another location. I can't find anything anywhere about them being discontinued.

 

The alignment feels much better, it's still pulling to the right a littke, but I'm fairly positive that's the tires

 

They said they usually see such low numbers nationwide when they are coming out with something new. They reccomened KO2s or Revos

MT/R's usually need to be ordered and so he may have been trying to push a sale. First rule of a salesman, don't let them get away!

 

Mine slightly pulls to the right as well, it's better then getting pulled into traffic I suppose.
It's hard to tell the cause of that though. Could be the road, tires, toe, caster.

On an empty street, try driving on the wrong side, and the middle.

I did get it unstuck... with about an hour with the sledgehammer... it is rusted to shit... but the receiver had no rust on it other than what came off the hook

 

Good news, driving on the interstate, and my rig is not pulling left or right... the roads there in Navarre must be sloped more than I thought to account for flooding maybe
