    Alright guys need some help

What are some upgrades that wont break the bank im already looking at few upgrades nothing huge I dont do much off roading except for going on construction site
These are the ones im looking at now
    1. Blisten 5100s adjustable shocks. I wont need anything additional if im setting it to 1.5 correct?
    2. I silver tacoma so i want get some simple black rims nothing fancy basic what would you recommend

Are there upgrades you would recommend not a huge offroader maybe some dirt road nothing hard what so ever.

One last thing how much do the D rings run for the system in the bed not the D rings bolted in the bed but the ones that can be adjusted. Could someone send me a link to those or if there is DIY of homemade ones that would be even available

    Thanks in advance

Bilsteins have 4 settings: 0", .85", 1.75", and 2.5". Depending on what setting you go with, will determine if additional parts are needed.

@ 0, or .85, nothing additional should be needed.

@ 1.75" you may get vibrations in your front differential. This is fixed with the ECGS bushing. Also, many @ 1.75" will install an AAL, or full leaf pack to retain some rake. At best, the 1.75" setting (with no additional mods to the rear) will level front to back. Many will be slightly nose high @ this setting. If you do raise the rear above 1.5", you may need a carrier bearing drop (basically a $12 spacer).

@ the 2.5" setting, you may need to get aftermarket upper control arms as it's likely the front end alignment won't be within in factory specs. As well as either an AAL, or full leaf pack. Just a heads up though, at this setting it will ride pretty rough.

As far as wheels, I was thinking of getting these a while ago, before I went with what I have now.

These are one of the only black wheels I've seen that I really like. Plus I haven't seen one Tacoma online with these wheels yet. You could be our test dummy.

With a Pre Runner .85 should level you I have a 2015 4x4 and 1.75 did it for me. But just a helpful hint as to when you are asking for help. Let people know model you have. Such as 2x4 or 4x4, Double Cab or Access Cab. Everything is a factor in some way or another. Good luck your lift, and post pics when done. And I don't know if you will have a problem with the ECGS bearing as you are a 2x4.

Yeah, being a Pre Runner, you don'the have a front diff. to worry about. One advantage of not having 4wd.

So no need to worry about that pesky needle bearing replacement. Good for you.

Need some more help with getting a muffler

I live in california so i will still need to be able pass smog cause i plan to keep this truck for a long time.
Im thinking im going to buy a muffler maybe flowmaster or magnaflow not sure just looking for some decent throaty noise nothing crazy and something that will not break the bank. I want to buy the muffler myself and take it to a shop to have it installed.

Also what is the offsets for the exhaust if any. im looking to keep all the pips stock just change the muffler.

Would like to see what you guys recommend

I'm running a magnaflow on mine and love it. I had a 3 inch flat black exhaust tip welded on as well. I will take pics tomorrow and post. All the shop did was cut old muffler out, weld new one in place, then welded the tip on. 45 minute job. Couldn't be happier.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
You don't want to break the bank it seems. Just plastidip your rims black until you have the cash on hand to get what you want.

So does 2015 4x4 SR5...just aluminum vs steelie. And I'm not sure aluminum is an upgrade.

But wife wanted the options, sigh.
