The actual vin will be assigned the day it is built, if it indeed got built on scheduled date then vin will be in dealers inventory next day.

From the looks of it once it's built and the temp vin switches, the temp vin does not show up in dealer daily anymore, right? My temp vin still shows in dealer daily with build date of 10/29. Not sure why temp vin still shows up in DD. Did it not get built? Are they even going to build it lol. If build date changes it should show new build date in DD. I'm not sure what the hell is going on with my truck and still no info from dealer. I can deal with the wait, I can't deal with the unknown.

Thanks Chris! Portland, OR is right there near Vancouver, WA... Anyway to tell if they are going to bypass and go even further north or do they drop some off (like mine!) and then keep going? I can't see how its going to take a week to go 15 miles south... Any insight? If not, that's cool...

Good question brother. I dont know about that one lol. I just trust the shipping information give because it is generally really accurate. Bit of insight though, trucks do not run on weekends so that might be a reason why there is a little longer lag in the process.

 

Yeah, I thought of that too. My plan was to call the dealership on Monday (and maybe check with you again in the afternoon) to see what they think. They have been really honest straightforward with me thus far. Since I'm traveling 800 miles and need to book tickets I want to make sure the first time I book will be good. They have said that the 11/20 is a safe bet, which is actually out of the range of what is currently given.
