DUDE. This is the exact spot I proposed to my wife on October 8, 2010. We had our fire in the ring off the front right of your truck.

 

You picked an awesome spot! One of the main reasons I wanted to go up there was your posts about it, and when I saw the fall colors leading up the canyon I couldn't resist! I was losing my shit the whole time it was so beautiful.

 

Yeah, it's that kind of spot! Glad I inspired you! It's along our many Eastern Sierra fall color spots.

When we were up there it was moonless, cloudless night, and the Milky way was so bright...well, it was ridiculous. It was pretty damn special. CAn't wait to take Bennett up there when he is old enough to understand it. Maybe we can replicate it

I got something neat for this one. Hint hint: I received a LEE filter holder and a big stopper last week.

 

Probably the only time I'll pick up my camera this week so I'll submit this. Shot this yesterday when I went hunting with my dad. That thing stood there frozen as I reversed and drove up slowly..even honked my horn to see if it'll run away.

Got a few of these on weds, this is one of my favorites of the bunch. 250 seconds.

 

Damn Gage when you posted earlier that you were going to take some pics I almost replied with a poke, you have promised many times in the past that you would but usually don't, yeah sure When you deliver though you deliver, very well done as many others on here have done also.

Have a pic of a bedded whitetail chewing her cud and her baby Bambi bedded next to her from 3 days ago. Thought about entering it into the early bovine entries of Elk and blacktail Headed to the river tomorrow and hopping I can catch some Arctic Swans and Bald Eagles headed South though. And I will take the Toller to the river LOL.

I have learned a lot from these challenges and still learning. And I appreciate that, a lot.

 

Thanks! I almost always take some pictures when I say I am going to post but sometimes I just don't like what I got and choose not to post/upload them. Other times I just forget until Monday morning . I wish I could participate more but some challenges require a bit of searching I just don't have time for.
