I haven't had them in and real serious situations yet, but have had on some trails and fire roads and they have done well. Also have performed fine on the highway during some of the rains we have had lately, so happy wjth the RTs so far.

Like others have said, mts will be heavy and loud. No complaints about my at2s other than the cracking. They are quiet and do good off-road. Still have tons of tread life. I'm bummed. I seriously think about buying another pair. I like them that much.

I've run 285/75/16 Toyo MT's and 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx. I recently found a smoking deal on some 285 ST Maxx and I couldn't pass it up so I have those mounted up. My next tires will probably be the Cooper STT Pros but I wanna see some long term testing.

The Toyos were great in Mud and deep snow and were tough as nails but got pretty loud as they got below 50%. They also weren't great in ice or the rain, and were super heavy. They also cupped a little when I missed a rotation. I would run them again but probably in a 255/85/16.

The ST Maxx's have been awesome. Good in mud, tough as hell, good in the snow and pretty good in rain. They have excellent road manners but are also a heavy tire. A great all around tire.

Yeah I was looking at that as well, I'm thinking the new discoverer stt pros, if I were to go with the cooper tire. Would you say the cooper is the best all around. I don't mind a little hum from the tire.

Like I said, I wanna give the STT Pros a shot but they are pretty new and I haven't seen much as far as long term reviews. I love my Coopers but as I said, I liked the Toyos too, I just don't really have a need at the moment for an M/T. The ST Maxx was a good aggressive all terrain that fit my needs and the have been awesome.

Give the STT Pros a shot and give me a long term review so I'll know what tire to buy next!

One thing to keep in mind about the Toyos is that they are a STIFF tire so airing down won't get you as much sidewall flex as a lot of other tires.

Still need help with which tire to choose. Anyone have any experience with each of these tires in snow?

With all the siping of the AT2 it's gotta be good in snow. Most of the time at's are better in the snow and ice.

Deep snow the Toyo MT's were good. Ice and packed snow they were downright sketchy.

For what conditions? There is not an AT tire that is across the board better in all conditions. What you'll find, and what you're finding, is that all of the newer generation AT tires are really good.

Gravel roads, pavement wet or dry, cold snow (powder) etc. I loved the Hankook Dynapro (It's not great in wet snow/slush but it never once got me into trouble or failed to get me out of trouble and I spend a lot of time in the snow)

For gravel roads, snow, ice I really like the Duratrac.
