The angle of the front bend on the '15 AVS in-channels I tried was way off. Definitely wasn't something you could massage or trim into place.

I got mine and installed them. But I have to make some modifications.

On each side there are supposed to be 5 bolts that hold the steps in. But on the drivers side only 4 holes line up, and on the passenger side its worse! I was only able to get 3 of the bolts in.

I called running board warehouse, and they gave me a partial credit because I'm going to have to drill the holes out so I can get the bolts in. We decided to go that route because repacking these things and shipping them back is to much of a pain, plus, the holes are only off by a few millimeters. But I suggested he call Nfab and tell them to double check their jigs.

hey buddy. Is there any way for a car door to ding your truck now that you have these??? I can't tell if the entire tube sticks out past the width of the doors

I found the same thing. Try this - put in the 2 center bolts very loosley, then the 1 Front. With the rear of the bar being
longer it was easier to flex that side and line up the holes. Mine were a bitch! At one point, 1 of them went flying across
    the front yard :D

this is what I discovered worked (the hard way); I described the same method in an post #246. I was convinced the holes didn't line up, but eventually figured this out. they will fit if you follow these exact steps and put a little muscle into it.

Thanks for the advice, and I understand what you guys are saying, and I actually used that method to mount them.

But I have a feeling I'm going to have to do some cutting and here is why.

The problem I have with the passenger side is only one hole on the middle bracket lines up. So I can start one bolt in the middle, but I can't even start the other bolt on the same bracket because the slots are cut to close together. Even if I let the bar dangle all the way down.

I know you have to muscle the bars to get the different brackets to line up. But it's not like I can stretch the bracket itself.

So I'm able to get one bolt in the middle bracket, then get the front to mount (that only takes one bolt), and then I have to muscle the back bracket into position, but again, it has the same problem as the middle bracket. I can only get one bolt in. Once it's in, I can't get the second bolt on the same bracket to line up because the slot is cut to thin.

Don't worry I'll get it to work :)

If that's the case you have no choice, either drill or return them.

Wonder how much partial credit you got back :). Wished that I had done the same thing as you did :)
The first set I had to send back because one of the bars only had partial powder coated. Waited a week for the second set, and had to do some mod for it to fit.

Running board warehouse gave me a $20.00 credit. I was talking to their tech support, and he said, "Well if it's only off by a few millimeters you can drill it. We have had some customers who needed to do that on other boards."

My reply was, "Well here is the funny thing, I don't work for Nfab, so can you give me a credit of some sort, this way I can save you from processing a return?"

And he gave me $20.00. Which worked out for me because I used the coupon code, but seeing as I'm in Florida where they are located, my savings pretty much just offset the sales tax.

But if the coating wasn't complete like yours, then I'd definitely return them.

Yup, got it two weeks ago. Got the Predator steps (OEM) from Mid-Atlantic Toyota on Thursday and put them on this morning. Very satisfied so far. Went on in about 20 minutes and they are made of aluminum so they will never rust.

I did take the precaution of putting some Loctite on the bolts. They had flat washers only. There were also two extra thick flat washers that I couldn't figure out what to do with. No instructions.

I ordered on the 4th and spoke with customer service today. They order it directly from the manufacurer. Per customer service, It takes 7 days for them to ship it. So they got back to me. I ordered at runningboardwarehouse.com and they are also Autocustoms.com. Something not right here.

    Hello,

I contacted N-Fab and they informed me that your nerf bars have been built and they got into powder coating early. They estimating that it will be ready to ship on the 17th of November.
If you have any further questions or concerns you can email me or give me a call any time.

    Thank you,
    Have a great day.
