That is correct. .85 should keep you within spec at all adjustments. 1.75 puts you out far enough to need new UCAs. As Livinserene mentioned, due to the additional 1" from the new 2016 spring that needs to be factored in from last years settings.

Were did you order the bilsteins from? are they the same ones that would fit on the 2014 and 2015? Does the front sit a bit higher then the back now? looks like the back is lower now.

Also if I go with a add a leaf or block in the back do I need to replace the stock rear shock witha bilstein 5100? I assume the stock rear stock on the TRD Sport isn't capable of handling a 1" rear lift?

Ordered the Bilsteins from Downsouthmotorsports on ebay and are the same ones that fit any 2005+ Tacoma. The front end sits about 3/4" higher up front at 1.75. The standard Bilstein 5100 for the rear allows 0-1" ride height for either a block or leaf. If you plan on going higher than 1" with a leaf or block there are other Bilstein options you can choose from. Research to see what best fits your needs and wants.

ok thanks and you said previously that setting the front bilstein shocks at 1.75 will require new UCA? thats what I had them set at in my 2014 tacoma. I'm assuming we need to go .85 if we want to play it safe?

Not suggesting that your method is wrong or anything, but you can make a *much* more accurate measurement by taking the distance between a fixed point on the frame down to a line connecting the bottom edge of both LCA's. This removes the variability between the bodies of the two models, the body assembly (since there can be some variation in how the fender flares sit on one to the next, or even on the two sides of the same truck), and the compression/age of the body mounts.

I think I'm going to follow you set up, 1.75 setting on the bilsteins, UCA, and bilsteins on the back with 1" block. I think going 1.2 or 2" in the back might give it too much of a rake look. Can't wait till more people start lifting their 2016's

Lifted another one today. 5100 kit with the Deaver add a leaf. Went on in 2 and a half hours without any issues. Drives great too.

Oh and 285's without rubbing, even with the silly air dam still on (he's taking it off tonight)

Your truck looks awesome! I'm thinking about getting the Double Standards as well but all black. Did you have any problems with them or the lift?

Thanks! No problems with anything. All Toytec 2nd gen ('05-'15) parts for the lift right off the website. Rims fit perfect and tires do not rub.

Thats great news! Now I just need the $$.. Have you felt a loss of power with the 285s?

It's not too bad. The little 3.5 has some power. Just gotta scream it to make power. It comes alive from 4,500 RPM and up. And this is coming from a TRD supercharged 2013 4x4 with all the bolts ons.

So far it has plenty of power for my driving habits but I'm trying to decide on just going one size up to 265/75s or up to 285s with a lift.

The 3.5 power is fine. But the transmission is a little overzealous on down shifting
