Heard the main road has some wet spots, so it should be nice up there tomorrow.

It shouldn't be that wet up there, especially on the trails we hit. They dry out fast because most of it is open.

So its been pouring rain all night and still is up there. The group is canceling the noob run. If you still want to go up and camp or drive the main trails, go for it.

Yeah, I tried to go back to the campground, but the Subaru that was trying to leave when we got to the campground was stuck on the main trail. I tried to help him, but everyone else had their own ideas on how to get him out. I sat in one spot for two hours watching the circus.

The grass on the lower road was insane. Never seen it that bad. Couldn't even see the dirt or even a sign where the road is. Had to try and judge the road by staying between the side of the mountain and the trees, while going slow and hoping there is no boulders. And there was a big one hiding in the grass...

Once summer hits, a group of us is going up there to cut some grass back and round-up select areas. It's partly the reason for people trying to drive off the side of the mountain.
