If you have a detail or window tinting shop nearby I'm sure they can do it for you for a small fee.

Thanks for sharing. While I may still want red & white for Captain Ameritruck, the black looks sharp with the color keyed number.

Got mine in the mail today, will post pictures saturday once they are on. Just reviewing the instructions, they are pretty clear and straightforward. Extra "test" letter included is appreciated.

So these last about 12 years you said. So after they start wearing off and peeling, do you fully remove the decal and place another one in its place? And how difficult is it to get the old one off to replace it?

Sweet, thanks. I was just wondering because I tried to take of the dealer decal on the back of my old challenger 3 years after I bought it and it took forever! Goo and gunk and tons and took tons of rubbing/peeling with fingernails since it was baking in the heat for 3 years. Wondering if it was going to be the same.

I'll be interested in matte black, if reasonably priced.

    INstalled.>..Look great.

HOWEVER I would want thicker vinyl material. It was a PIA to remove the vinyl from the paper backing. The paper wanted to stick to the Vinyl. Almost gave it up at the C......

I used waterless Car wash for the lube factor once they were removed from the paper backing

20 minutes. The hardest part were taking the Vinyl letters off the paper backing. The paper wanted to stick to them. Almost ruined a letter. The vinyl is very thin.

Be VERY generous with the soapy water. I used a bottle of waterless car wash rather than mix my own,

Sorry about that TacoBella. I didn't realize until after the first packs were mailed that the paper was partially cut when the vinyl was run through the cutter. This makes the paper want to separate with the vinyl letter. I have corrected the cutting depth on subsequent orders so this should not be an issue.

In regards to using other solutions, while they will work, please be aware that some may contain ingredients that will have an adverse affect on the adhesion factor of the vinyl. For example, you can use Windex as long as it is ammonia-free.

Yes, the 951 vinyl is very thin, however, it has a longer durability rating than the thicker material.
